Good questions

Everything you might ask

Pricing, tastings, allergens, staffing, and the booking details — answered plainly. If yours isn’t here, just ask.

Pricing
  • Per-guest pricing depends on menu, service style, staffing, and rentals. As a guide: drop-off and station menus from ~$65/guest, full-service family-style from ~$95, plated dinners from ~$135, and full-production weddings from ~$185. Build Your Event gives an illustrative band in seconds; every event gets a written proposal after we talk.

  • Yes — minimums vary by date and season. Most full-service events start around a $4,000 food-and-beverage minimum; private in-home dinners start at eight guests. Midweek and off-season dates carry lower minimums and a 12% food discount.

Planning
  • We do. Once your date is reserved, weddings and milestone events of 60+ guests receive a complimentary private tasting for two; additional guests and pre-booking tastings are available for a fee credited toward your event.

Food
  • Absolutely — it’s core to how we cook. We collect every guest’s dietary needs, build vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free options into the menu, prepare allergen plates separately, and label every dish at service. Tell us your guest list’s needs and we’ll tailor the menu.

Service
  • Yes. Full-service events include chefs, a captain, and service staff; we coordinate china, glass, linen, and other rentals, and offer full bar and beverage service with a TIPS-certified team. You get one point of contact for the whole production.

  • We can. We build the beverage program — signature cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic — and staff a licensed bar. For host-provided alcohol, we supply bartenders, mixers, ice, and glassware. Pairings are led by our sommelier.

Corporate
  • Yes. We’re set up for single-invoice billing, purchase orders, and recurring house accounts for teams that host often. We handle dietary matrices, on-site or in-office service, and boxed options for hybrid groups.

Logistics
  • San Francisco and the greater Bay Area — the Peninsula, East Bay, Marin, and the Napa and Sonoma wine country. Events beyond a 60-mile radius may include a travel fee, quoted up front.

Booking
  • A signed agreement and a deposit (typically 35% of the estimate) reserve your date; the balance is due before the event with a final guaranteed headcount 10 days out. Cancellations are refundable on a sliding scale by how far out they fall — full terms are in your agreement.
